Driving Positive Action and Change for a Better Future in Our Community

In times of crisis, we at DBM Group are always looking for opportunities to give back to our community. In light of COVID-19 and people’s limited access to PPE, as well our nation’s fight for peace and justice for all, we stand with those who have been affected or lost a loved one.

Our family at DBM Group has generously contributed in support of our community in many forms over the years through monetary donations, food drives, and even adopting families in need over the holidays to help them put food on their tables and gifts under the tree. And, now we must act to help our friends and neighbors affected by COVID-19 and seeking peace in our community.

Since the start of COVID-19 in the US, we’ve been researching ways to help both our employees and clients to stay afloat during this time of economic uncertainty. We listened to authorities to prevent the spread by going fully remote as soon as the pandemic was a growing concern. We’ve opened our ears to client and employee concerns, paused campaigns, and had their best interests in mind, supplying our company and our clients with over $1k in PPE. Our goal was, and still is, to support those who are in need, because we are all in this together.

The health of our staff and community has been top of mind. That’s why this year, our company has also raised and donated over $600 to the Crime Survivors Resource Center of California, an organization that helps victims of crime to recover from their experiences mentally, physically, emotionally, and financially, by receiving respect, support ,and protection from the judicial system, and the community. The Crime Survivors Resource Center works in California communities to make victims’ rights a top priority by facilitating communication and cooperation across various public services, government, and nonprofit organizations to ensure that victims’ rights are understood, and that the services victims are entitled to are received.

This is a time when we need to come together to support one other, driving positive action and change for a better future in our communities, within our businesses, and ultimately, as a country. Whether you’re donating your time, supporting local businesses, through purchasing or spreading awareness, or contributing in other ways, we ask that you please look into ways you can help your community and give back to those who so desperately need it.
